Mid century beech and elm dark stained kitchen dining table with a drop leaf each side, made in the 1960's probably. Pretty sure this is Ercol, Old Colonial, though there are no labels remaining. The Ercol 377 is an identical model, apart from the slight oval shape of this one (it's aboout 10cm longer than it is wide), while that one is round. Splayed legs with X-shaped cross members. The leaves are supported by metal poles with wooden ends. Condition is pretty good structurally; it's solid and all works well. Both leaves are very slightly bowed so they are a few millimetres proud in the middle of the hinged edge: really not much but worth mentioning. A very slight crack in one plank joint on top (see pics): it can't come apart as the join is shaped. Cosmetically the top has quite a few marks, scratches, dings and a couple of bits of paint. So not perfect but overall a pleasing look. Could of course be stripped (not by me though :D) Dimensions: 124cm (70cm with leaves down) x 113cm x 71cm high
